Only after graduating (with top honors) did Sunburst learn of what happened while he studied away, plus his long-held secret of lack of performing magic being reveled during a final exam, caused the stallion to simply shut down. Sunburst devoted so much of his time to study that he missed out on the outside world, specifically on the divorce of his parents and the disappearance of his older sister Sunset Shimmer. Under the pressure of his mother, Sunburst spent all his time pursuing academic work and study, learning everything all about magic and spells. At first life seemed all sunshine with afternoons filled with laughter and play however, after gaining his cutie mark, Sunburst quickly found himself under the intense hoof of his mother who whisked him to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Sunburst spent his foalhood days living in Sire's Hollow, a small quaint town in the middle of no where. Since I have been redrawing my own NG characters, why don't I redraw the parents? Not every parent/MLP headcanon is getting drastically changed: this is mostly just me practicing my drawing/cringing at old art/rethinking my NG/doodling gone too far, and I do not plan on redrawing EVERY parent (maybe, no promises), but here we go. Why draw my own characters doing dynamic things and interacting when I can constantly draw 3/4 still poses and explore things not needing exploring.
